Medical Board ActionLicense suspension for two years which is stayed. The physician is permanently restricted from practicing obstetrics and performing prenatal services, and he must comply with the terms of the North Carolina Medical Board Order. The physician must also provide ninety (90) days notice before practicing medicine in New York State or in any other jurisdiction where the practice of medicine is predicated on his New York State medical license after which his practice may be subject to conditions.
Medical Board Misconduct DescriptionThe physician did not contest the charge of having been disciplined by the North Carolina State Medical Board and the South Carolina State Medical Board for failing to conform to the applicable standard of care in the treatment of five obstetrical patients.
