Medical Board ActionInterim order for the limitation of the physician's medical practice pending the final disposition of the current investigation being conducted by the New York State Office of Professional Medical Conduct. The physician's practice is limited in that he will not initiate or continue treatment with Tysabri infusion and Mycophenolate for any patient without obtaining approval from a board certified neurologist. The physician will transfer the care of patients receiving these treatments to a physician experienced in the treatment of multiple sclerosis within thirty days of the effective date of this order. The Board Order ended effective October 24, 2012. There are currently no limitations on the physician's license to practice medicine in New York State.
