Medical Board ActionThe physician's medical license is limited precluding all patient contact and the practice of medicine clinical or otherwise. The physician may not use his medical license as a basis for practicing any other profession licensed or regulated by the New York State Board of Regents, Department of Health or Department of State.
Medical Board Misconduct DescriptionThe physician could not defend against at least one of the acts of gross negligence, negligence on more than one occasion and incompetence on more than one occasion. Previously on April 26, 2012 an interim order was issued precluding the physician from prescribing, and/or administering controlled substances, psychotherapeutic agents, central nervous system stimulants or sedatives/hypnotic drugs until the final disposition of the New York State Office of Professional Medical Conduct investigation.
